A recent discover of a mollusk shell fossil bed in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Most of the shells have quartz inclusions compressed inside. This set includes 8 beautiful seashells. Excellent collector specimens, or can be cut and polished into nice jewelry as well - some examples can be found here.

Background Info: From the Paleo-Cretaceous era, roughly 144 million years ago. Discovery made, May 2007 at Cardenas in the state of San Luis Potosi by paleontologist investigator Guillermo Ramirez Medina of San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
